I have always been big on being at church.  When I first became a follower of Jesus it was hard to keep me away from church (just ask my parents).  People like to say to me, “Well you’re a pastor —- you are supposed to be at church.”  That quote always bothers me because I take it as a questioning of my commitment to my Lord and Savior.  What they don’t understand is that I would still be at church if I wasn’t a pastor.

The Apostle Paul spent 18 months working in the City of Corinth. During that time he established the church there. He had left instructions on how to run the church.

JEHOVAH JIREH: The Lord Provides (Sees)

While Krista and I were in seminary, the church we attended and were members of did a series on the names of God as part of a time of commitment to do some needed improvements and renovations to the churches facilities.

Last Sunday I spoke of God’s “still small voice” as the way in which He predominantly speaks to us.  Today, I am speaking of God speaking to us through the Holy Spirit by prayer, the Bible, the Church and circumstances.
